Pre-booked appointments with the doctor or practice nurse are available morning and afternoon. For non-urgent medical problems it is recommended that you make your appointment several days prior to your intended visit. This appointment can be made with the receptionist on (01) 628 0654.

If you need to speak to a doctor or nurse, the receptionist will take your contact details and your call will be returned over the next 24 hours, or sooner if urgent.

Home visits on request – if possible, please make your home visit request with reception before 11.00am.
Emergencies
A doctor is always available by telephone. Ring (01) 628 0654, let the receptionist know that it is an emergency, briefly outlining the issue – and that you urgently need to speak to a doctor.
Out of Hours Service
For all out-of-hours enquiries, contact the surgery on (01) 628 0654. Our out-of-hours cover is provided by the “Doctor On Duty” service, where calls are transferred to when the surgery closes.
Blood Tests
All non-urgent blood tests are to be arranged by appointment with the practice nurse. Please check with the receptionist when booking your blood test if you are required to fast beforehand. If fasting is required you can only drink water.
Test Results
Patients are advised when having bloods tests done to phone the practice nurse within 7 /10 days for these results All results are checked once they are received by the surgery, and any urgent abnormal results will be dealt with by the doctor. The practice nurse will advise you if they are normal or if a follow-up appointment is required.
Acute Illness Clinic
Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic there are no Acute Illness Clinics. Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call 01 628 0654 to make an appointment.
